The Huskies (5-2) moved up to 21st from 23rd in this week’s Associated Press poll. Washington remained 23rd in the USA/Today coaches’ poll.

Associated Press voters dropped Kentucky to 17th and Michigan State to seventh. Arizona received a sniff with 38 votes, and Gonzaga received nine votes.

Washington State received a vote in the coaches’ poll.

Certain voters, like Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports, left Washington out of the top 25. He said on Twitter his reasoning was that Washington has two losses.

Washington plays Portland tonight at 7 in Hec Ed.
