Ken Griffey, Jr. is the best player in the history of the Mariners and arguably a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but the way he essentially walked away from Seattle (not once, but TWO times) has just left me cold to the guy and totally disinterested in what he has to say about anything at this point. It’s sad because Junior really did have an entire city in the palm of his hands and while he’ll always have his supporters locally (to his credit, he’s a huge reason we still have MLB in Seattle), a lot of us have emotionally put him in the rear-view mirror.
