Safety, QB lead Huskies’ new football class

University of Washington football coach Steve Sarkisian Wednesday received national letters of intent from 22 recruits from five states, two of whom, safety Trevor Walker and quarterback Troy Williams, graduated early from high school and are already enrolled at UW. Williams, an honorable mention All-America by Parade magazine, is the star of Sarkisian’s fifth recruiting class, listed here alphabetically:

Keishawn Bierria, LB (6-1, 210, Carson, CA.): Made Division I first-team all-state from MaxPreps.com . . . Selected first-team All-CIF Los Angeles City Section at linebacker as a senior and named to the Los Angeles Times all-star team … CalHiSports.com second-team all-state … As a senior, helped Narbonne to a 14-1 record and a second consecutive L.A. Lavon Coleman, RB (5-11, 210, Lompoc, CA.): Missed much of his senior season due to injury, but rushed for 887 yards and nine TDs on 128 carries . . . Darrell Daniels, WR (6-4, 205, Pittsburg, CA.): Selected Bay Valley Athletic League Co-MVP as a senior after catching 54 passes for 947 yards and 20 touchdowns . . .
