The Seahawks open the 2017 preseason on the road, facing the newly relocated Los Angeles Chargers at L.A.’s StubHub Center, which seats 30,000. Seattle follows with CenturyLink Field games against the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs before closing out the exhibition slate in Oakland against the Raiders.
Dates and kickoff times have yet to be announced except for the Kansas City game, which will be played Friday, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m., PT (CBS).
This will mark the 12th consecutive year that the Seahawks will complete the preseason by playing Oakland.
Also Monday, the Seahawks signed wide receiver Cyril Grayson, a 23-year-old former Louisiana State track and field star who hasn’t played football since high school. Seattle had Grayson in for a visit recently. Since he is a fifth-year senior and did not play college football, he was eligible to be signed immediately instead of going through the NFL draft.
Grayson 5-foot-9 and 178 pounds, ran races from 200 to 800 meters and on relay teams at LSU.
