Dates and times for the Seahawks preseason schedule were released Thursday, beginning the four-game exhibition slate with the Tennessee Titans at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at CenturyLink Field. This year, Seattle’s preseason contests will be televised by Q13 FOX. The schedule:
- Saturday, Aug. 11: Tennessee Titans at Seattle, 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 18: Seahawks at Denver Broncos, 6 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 24: Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs, 5 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 30: Oakland Raiders at Seahawks, 7 p.m.
Tennessee will bring back Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker to Seattle. Hasselbeck, the Seahawks’ quarterback from 2001-10, signed with the Titans as a free agent following the 2010 season.
Locker, Hasselbeck’s backup, quarterbacked the Washington Huskies from 2007-10, then became the eighth overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
Seattle’s Aug. 18 game at Denver will provide the Seahawks with their first look (if he plays) at four-time MVP Peyton Manning as a Bronco, with whom he signed in free agency last month.
The NFL has not released the regular season schedule.
