The Pac-12 Conference released its early season football start times dictated by the TV networks — who else? — and Huskies fans who like daylight will be pleased to learn that Washington’s home opener Sept. 6 against Eastern Washington will kick off at noon Husky Stadium on the Pac-12 Networks.
The next game against Illinois Sept. 13 will also be at reasonable hour, 1 p.m., on Fox.
Washington’s season opener in Hawaii Aug. 30 was previously announced at 5 p.m. PT (2 p.m. in Honolulu) on CBS.
At Washington State, the Cougars will open at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 by hosting Rutgers University in The Seattle Game at CenturyLink Field. The game will be on Fox Sports 1.
The next game against Nevada Sept. 5 will be on ESPN with a 7:30 p.m. start. On Sept. 13, the Cougars’ home opener against Portland State will be on the Pac-12 Networks at 5 p.m.
The only other Cougars game in the early announcement was the Oct. 10 game at Stanford. ESPN with televise starting at 6 p.m.
