Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes, Marshawn Lynch ran one yard for a TD, and Leon Washington had a 93-yard kickoff return to set up a TD in the NFC’s 62-35 victory over the AFC in the Pro Bowl Sunday in Honolulu.
Also playing from Seattle in the annual AFC/NFC All-Star game were T Russell Okung, C Max Unger and FS Earl Thomas.
Wilson, the phenomenal rookie who led the Seahawks to an 11-5 regular-season record and a wild card victory over the Washington Redskins, directed the NFC to three touchdowns in the third quarter: A 28-yard pass to Doug Martin, a nine-yarder to Larry Fitzgerald and a five-yarder to Vincent Jackson. In the same period, Wilson also engineered a 41-yard, seven-play scoring drive.
“I think everybody really played hard,” said Wilson. “It was a great culmination for my rookie year. And all I can say now is ‘Go Hawks!'”
Lynch scored in the second quarter, giving the NFC a 24-14 lead. Washington’s kickoff return set up Wilson’s nine-yard TD to Fitzgerald.
Wilson completed eight of 10 passes for 98 yards. He finished with a passer rating of 147.1, best among all Pro Bowl quarterbacks. Lynch carried four times for 21 yards. Thomas had two tackles.

Go Hawls1? Nice proof reading! Richard Sherman? Nice fact-checking!
Sorry about that, we’ve made corrections to the story.
Hooray for Russell Wilson, this man is clearly something special.
The Seahawk players represented well. They all played HARD. Didn’t treat this like a Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl game. Of course, they’re all young. Get a few more Pro Bowls under their belts and that might change.
If the game were closer at half time, I think RW would’ve gotten the MVP. But, Congrats to Kyle Rudolph.
On the Prow Bowl in general: Even though the game itself is still pretty much a joke, the event as a whole – as with other All-Star events – is a great exhibition of sportsmanship and comradery among the players. I loved that moment where Jeff Saturday got to switch sides to snap the ball to Peyton Manning. I just think the Pro Bowl ought to be played after the Superbowl.
