Washington has added Fresno State to its 2017 college football schedule, filling a vacancy on Sept 16. The Huskies open at Rutgers on Sept. 1 and host Montana Sept. 9. The Huskies and Bulldogs have meet three times, all at Husky Stadium.
Washington won49-14 in 1979 and again in 2006, the 21-20 triumph sealed by a blocked PAT with 4:30 left in the game from backup DE Caesar Rayford. In 2004, Fresno State opened the season with a 35-16 victory.
The Huskies opened 2015 spring practice season Monday. They begin the 2015 season Sept. 4 at Boise State.
