The Pac-12 Conference Monday announced the starting times and television affiliations for four University of Washington football games, including the Huskies’ home opener Sept. 12 against Sacramento State, as well as for weekday games later in the season.
Three Washington State University football games, two home games and the Apple Cup in Seattle, also were selected.
The Huskies home opener will kick off at 11 a.m. and will be aired on the Pac-12 Networks. The following Saturday (Sept. 19), Washington will host Utah State at 2 p.m., also on Pac-12 Networks. The Huskies’ Thursday night game Oct. 8 at USC will begin at 6 p.m. and air on ESPN.
The Apple Cup, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27 at Husky Stadium, will get underway at either 12:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. and will be broadcast by either FOX or FOX Sports 1.
Earlier this spring, the Mountain West Conference announced that Washington’s season opener, Friday, Sept. 4 at Boise State, will air on ESPN and start at 8:15 p.m. MT/7:15 p.m. PT.
The Cougars open Saturday, Sept. 5 by hosting Portland State at 11 a.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
Following an away game at Rutgers, the Cougars return to Martin Stadium to host Wyoming Saturday, Sept. 19 at 5:30 p.m., also televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
While television selections for the first three weeks of the 2015 season have been made, as well as all Thursday and Friday games throughout the season, all remaining television game selections and start times, starting with week four (Sept. 26) and running through the final week of the regular season (Nov. 28) will be made 12 or six days in advance.
