Washington State’s second-leading receiver, senior River Cracraft, was injured Saturday against Cal and is lost for the season. Multiple reports say that he tore the ACL in his left knee on the last of his three touchdown catches in the Cougars’ 56-21 victory over the Bears at Martin Stadium.
He limped off the field after his seventh catch, for a total of 87 yards. The athletic department has yet to confirm.
He finishes with 53 catches for 701 yards and 5 TDs. Cracraft, from Santa Margarita, CA, in his freshman year started 10 games and caught 46 passes for 614 yards and 3 TDs. He earned Pac-12 honorable mention honors.
In his sophomore season of 2014, he had 66 catches, and another 53 in 2015 despite missing three games each season due to injury. His 218 career catches are second behind teammate Gabe Marks’s 295 for most in WSU history. He has 20 career TDs.
The 20th-ranked Cougars (8-2) have won eight in a row but are 4½-point underdogs for Saturday’s 12:30 p.m. game at 12th-ranked Colorado (8-2).

From a Dawg fan, that is terrible news. Hate to see anyone injured. Any word on Victor? My bad if the news is out there. I haven’t seen it.
