KeyArena will host international-class hoops May 12 when the the U.S. women’s national team plays China in a pre-Olympics exhibition game. The 7:30 p.m. game is part of a three-day camp the women’s team added to its schedule. The Japan national team will also scrimmage the U.S. at 10 a.m. May 13.

The Seattle Seahawks, who have not made much hay in free agency in recent days, re-signed two of their own, linebackers Leroy Hill and Matt McCoy,  Thursday. The Seahawks could still use some linebackers, having recently lost leading tackler David Hawthorne to the New Orleans Saints.

Lorenzo Romar’s Washington Huskies took the first step toward replacing NBA-bound Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten Wednesday when 6-foot-6 guard Mark McLaughlin, who starred last season at Tacoma Community College, signed scholarship papers with the Huskies. McLaughlin will enroll at UW during the summer.
