Following a 41-17 win over Oregon State, coupled with Ohio State’s loss at Penn State, the Washington Huskies moved up a notch to No. 4 in the AP and coaches polls.
Washington raced to a 38-3 lead and then eased before dispatching 37-point underdog Oregon State 41-17 Saturday night. The Huskies improved to 7-0, 4-0 in Pac-12 play.
The Seahawks will have TE Jimmy Graham, DE Frank Clark and RB C.J. Prosise available for Sunday’s game at Arizona, but it looks as if two defensive starters, SS Kam Chancellor and OLB Kevin Pierre-Louis, will be out. For the second game in a row, Kelcie McCray will fill in for Chancellor.
Washington finished sixth and Washington State 12th in the Pac-12 preseason media basketball poll. Oregon is the overwhelming favorite to win the conference championship.
