Todd Dybas has been in sports journalism for more than a decade, working as a writer, designer and editor.
He has covered a wide range of beats, from high school field hockey, to horse racing, to the NBA. During his time at newspapers on the east and west coasts, Dybas worked in four sports departments that won Associated Press Sports Editors national awards. He is a four-time winner of Awards of Excellence from the Society for News Design in addition to working at newspapers that received 15 APSE awards during his time with them.
He has managed a Seattle-based sports magazine and developed and launched his own Web site. His freelance work has appeared in a number of newspapers, websites and magazines.
After more than three years at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Dybas moved into freelance writing full-time covering myriad Seattle sports including the Sounders FC, Washington Huskies mens basketball and football and the Mariners.
Dybas graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in journalism and mass communication.
